Labor Justice

Additional information The concern for the rights of the worker has been a consistent theme in Catholic Social Teaching and a critical issue for advocacy at ICJP. Toward this end, the center is a member of the New York State and New York City Labor and Religion Coalition. Our work includes participation in various labor rights campaigns throughout the city, state and overseas. We are particularly conscious of the connections immigration and labor justice. Those who are recently arrived in the United States are too often those most vulnerable to labor exploitation.
